Review: JAL First Class Lounge Haneda

First Class Lounge Review: Japan Airlines Haneda

When flying out of Haneda on a one world carrier in first class, you must try out Japan Airlines first class lounge. It is fantastic. We had previously tried out their first class lounge at Narita and were super excited to see the Haneda lounge. Our flight to Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific First Class was scheduled for around 1030 am so we made sure to arrive with plenty of time. This was especially easy since the night before we had stayed at the excellent Royal Park Hotel in Haneda Airport International terminal.

I love the dark colors of the leather chairs and wood paneling. It give the room a warm feel without making it feel small or dark. There are also more traditional style seating, especially along the glass windows which have a fantastic view of the tarmac and are great for airplane spotting.

The food selection is quite extensive and there are several made to order items. As you can tell here we decided to order some egg and ham crepes given how early it was. We made sure to have a glass of champagne. Speaking of Champagne you must try the Champagne room which is closer to the back.

The champagne room is such a nice touch and I love that they also have sake. During our visit they were featuring Laurent-Perrier which given how many bottles they had I think is a very respectable Champagne for a lounge.

The Japan Airlines Haneda first class lounge also has a Foosball table to add to your entertainment during your connection. Furthermore, they have a very skilled shoe shiner and it was impressive to see how many people were taking advantage of this. They also have your standard showers as well as massage chairs. One important point is that you can sign up for a 10 minute complimentary massage. However, I would recommend signing up for this early as they were already booked. We were able to take advantage of this previously at the Japan Airlines First Class lounge in Narita.

In conclusion, Japan Airlines First Class lounge at Haneda Airport exceeded our expectations. The Champagne Room is great and I love the warm colors and woods with make it cosy without making the space feel small. Let us know what you think if you have visited before.
